Essencial Rock Band: Celebrating 10 Years
10 years in the music industry isn't taken lightly in this climate, let alone if you're a cover band and, that is where Essencial Rock Band are breaking the mould. The Almeria/Murcia cover band are celebrating their 10th Anniversary, they continue to build their fanbase each week and show no sign of slowing down anytime soon.
The band formed in 2009 by Alejandro Sanchez and Juan Alberto Porlan with the intent to remember and reminisce the great successes that marked the music industry throughout the years, right up to the present day.
Years of experience performing on stages throughout Spain guarantees each component of this band blend and come together to create something extraordinary, while making each cover their own. They perform a wide variety of songs from national groups like, M-Clan, Revolver, Manolo Garcia, Heroes del Silencio, Extremoduro, Rosendo, to the international greats, Dire Straits, Queen, Pink Floyd, Toto, The Rolling Stones to Michael Jackson. And, that is just name a few!
Essencial Rock Band are something quite extraordinary........
They bring a unique sound and essence to the stage, no matter how big or small the venue. Their chemistry is like no other, they know how to tease the senses and bring electricity to a room full of people, while making you smile from cheek to cheek.
Over the years, the band have had several changes and at the moment, the band consists of;
Juan Alberto Porlan (Guitar & Vocals) Alejandro Sanchez (Drums) Juan Antonio Coronel (Bass) Chema Alonso (Keyboard and Vocals)
Chema actually joined at the end of 2017 to increase the versatility of the band and bring a more complex sound to the well established unit. And boy, it paid off! Essencial Rock Band actually perform around 100 concerts per year in different areas of Spain and have built a loyal fan base, who will be on the front row supporting at every step of the way.
In honour of their 10th Anniversary, the band will be performing at Teatro Guerra in Lorca (Murcia) on February 7. The band have many surprises lined up and it is a night not to be missed!
